Community Services

Overview

Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute was started with aim of providing with a motto of taking care of community and serving humanity. Since its inception, the 200-bedded multispecialty hospital in North Mumbai has been serving the community by delivering qualitative and affordable medical services at the doorsteps.

Our hospital conducts numerous outreach camps in rural areas stretching up to 150 kms from Mira Road. Our aim is to not just provide health services but to create a healthy environment and fulfil the medical needs of the marginalised community in remote areas and urban areas through standalone camps. Customised health camps are organised extensively across the rural areas to provide health services – curative, preventive, promotive and referral to large number of people.

Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute regularly conducts senior citizens health check up camps as most senior citizens are deprived of basic medical facilities in the tribal and rural areas.

Camps are also conducted with various anganwadis as part of our malnutrition eradication camp. These camps are meant to provide services to those who don’t have access to pediatric consultancy and dietary supplements.

The camps conducted regularly by the Community Services Team aims at comprehensive care of the community that promotes health and prevention both.
