Artificial Kidney Dialysis Unit
The Artificial Kidney Dialysis (AKD) unit at the Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Research Institute is well-equipped with technologically advanced dialysis equipment and state-of-the-art reverse osmosis plant for water purification. The unit caters to haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients under the surveillance of well-trained experienced dialysis technicians, nurses and Resident Medical Officer.
The 10-bedded AKD unit is operational in 3 to 5 Dialysis Shifts from 7:00 am - 11:00 pm (Monday to Saturday including public holidays). In case of emergency, patients can access dialysis facilities at the Emergency Room under the supervision of Emergency Medical Officer. Bedside Haemodialysis facility is available for critically ill patients in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU).
Patients for Maintenance Haemodialysis can avail Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana for free dialysis treatment.
Our Spiritual Department offers Spiritual Care Services patients undergoing dialysis to help improve their quality of life.
