He is also the Chairman of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, a century old business conglomerate and an alumni from Harvard Business School, USA . Mr. Mafatlal is a philanthropist, associated with numerous NGOs working for the well-being of the society. He has deep interest in spirituality and his entire family has been practising Vaishnava Culture.
Mr. Priyavrata Mafatlal, an industrialist and a fifth-generation entrepreneur, is currently the Vice-Chairman of the 118-year-old Arvind Mafatlal Group, having varied interests in textiles, speciality rubber chemicals, Ed-Tech, Health and Hygiene and Information Technologies. In addition, he is also a successful angel investor in the start-up space.
Mr. Sanjiv Maheshwari is a Partner and CFO of Basil Technology Fund -Singapore Private Equity Fund that focuses on investments in Niche Technology. Prior to this he has more than 14 years of experience in world’s largest pharma / chemical companies. Mr. Maheshwari has been associated with ISKCON since college days and is actively involved with Govardhan Eco-Village, Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple, Annamrita Foundation and Bhaktivedanta Hospital. He mentors a number of start-ups during his free time.
Dr. Ajay Sankhe is a well-known paediatrician in North Region of Mumbai and Thane. Under his leadership, the hospital has been awarded as the “Best Multi-specialty Hospital in Maharastra for Innovation and Research” in Worldwide Achievers Healthcare Excellence 2015 Summit. Dr. Sankhe has been awarded the Rashtriya Udyog Ratan award in 2013 by National Organisation for Commerce and Industry for his commitment to social upliftment of society.
Dr. V. G. Shanbhag has pioneered the Bhaktivedanta Hospital's Eye Services in Barsana and the Barsana Eye & Dental Camp for the last 28 years. He has also commissioned the Bhaktivedanta Hospice in Vrindavan and Department of Palliative Care in Bhaktivedanta Hospital. He has been helming many spiritual initiatives for patients, staff and doctors of the hospital. He has been inspiring doctors, staff members and patients of the hospital through his lectures, personal counselling and through pilgrimages.
Dr. Santosh Choudhari is working as an Additional District Health Officer, Govt of Maharashtra. He is a life member of IAPSM and Research Foundation of Hospital and Health Administration. He is also a Health Expert and National trainer for Disaster management, Immunization and adolescent health counselling.
His Grace Shyamananda Das has completed his MBA and joined ISKCON in 1988. He is the Leadership Council Member of ISKCON Chowpatty temple. He is the translator and editor for the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust - One of the largest publishers of Vedic scriptures in the world. He is also a member of the translation team which produced the 18 volume Marathi translation of the 18000 shlokas Shrimad Bhagavatam and Chief Editor for Back to Godhead Magazine, India. He is a Senior Brahmachari resident of Sri Sri Radhe Gopinath Mandir, Chowpatty from 1990.
He speaks extensively at various temples, colleges, Management & Engg colleges, guiding & inspiring the youth in their spiritual journey.
His Grace Gauranga Priya Das completed his MBBS in 2000 from Nair Hospital. He has been associated with ISKCON since 1995, but it was in 2001 he decided to dedicate his life to complete the mission of Sirla Prabhupad. For 12 years he led the medical department and guest reception department of ISKCON Chowpatty. For the last eight years, he has been conducting Journey of Self Discovery Course for the Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute patients and staff. Mr. Das is also a spiritual counsellor of the Spiritual Care Department, Consultant Doctors and Managers. He is currently leading the ISKCON Chowpatty Congregational Development Department - North Zone.
His Grace Chaitanya Charan Das is a mentor, monk and speaker. He has been a spiritual teacher for nearly 25 years in ISKCON. He has authored more than 27 books that explain the relevance of Vedic wisdom and maintains daily blog gitadaily.com on the Bhagavad Gita. He has been invited to TEDx, World Peace Conference- UNESCO, Intel, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, Harvard, MIT, Cambridge, etc. and gives 400 talks across 100 cities in 4 continents every year.
His Grace Gaur Vilas Das pursued MBBS from JJ hospital and Grant Medical College. He joined ISKCON full-time in 2010. He is faculty member of Bhaktivedanta Academy for culture and education at ISKCON Chowpatty and ISKCON Mira Road, teaching bhagavad gita and other scriptures. He is also one of the admin members of ISKCON Youth services chowpatty. He travels to various parts of Maharashtra sharing messages of Bhagavat Gita. He has been involved in teaching life management lessons based on principles of Bhagavad Gita to students of JJ, Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Cooper Hospital. He has taken seminars on Stress management, Time management etc in various colleges like DY Patil medical college, MGM Dental college etc. He heads the Department of Seva Sthan which takes care of sick devotees in the temple.
Dr. Siva Prasad Gourabathini is also a practising Consultant Urologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. With his rich experience from various cities like Delhi, Bombay, Vellore in India and South Australia, he excels in treating all aspects of adult and paediatric urology issues. He has presented numerous research papers in national and international conferences and his write-ups are published in various journals of Urology. Dr. Gourabathini is a speaker for many CME courses, workshops and actively participates in quality activities, clinical research and surveying hospital inspection.
Mr. Praveen Muley has been guiding the hospital for more than 15 years with his vast knowledge from prestigious institutes like IIT, IIM and MICA. Under his guidance, the hospital received NABH certification and successfully completed many projects. He is currently overseeing the development of the Annexe Building which will add state of art Operation Theatre Complex, Oncology Radiation Centre, Comprehensive Ophthalmology Unit and 100+ beds to existing capacity. A spiritual seeker and an avid learner of Vedic Teachings, he likes to guide people through his Vedic knowledge and personal counselling.
Dr. K. Venkataramanan left his post as Vice-president in corporate to dedicate his life to mission. He has been associated with the hospital since 1997 and focussed on strategic planning, financial management and fundraising activities for SYC. He has bagged many prestigious awards for the institute for the unique services. He is Certified Success Coach from The Canfield Training Group. He is also a Certified Transformation & Mind Power Coach personally trained by Mr. Sunil Parekh of Rise Development Academy, one of India's leading success coaches.
Dr. Girish Rathod is one of the best joint replacement and traumatic surgeons in the city. He has been instrumental in developing the Orthopaedic Department catering to all sub-specialties under orthopaedics including preventive orthopaedics. He is also a part of the Core Group team. In times of disasters like Gujarat Earthquake, Mumbai Bomb Blast, Nepal Earthquake, etc., he was always there to help people. He completed his Diploma as Yoga Teacher in 2017 and translated H.H. Dr. Suraj Purushotthaman is a Chief Intensivist with more than 20 years of experience in Critical Care. He worked as Senior Resident at Grant Medical College, Mumbai and King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He holds European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC) and is a certified BLS & ACLS trainer. Dr. Purushotthaman has attended several national and international conferences on Critical Care and Infectious Diseases. Previously, he has conducted Infectious Disease Seminars at the hospital too.
Dr. Vishnu Agrawal has completed surgical oncology and fellowship from the Tata Memorial Hospital. With the vision to introduce a world class Onco-Surgery facility in Mumbai, Dr. Agarwal embarked on pursuing Laparoscopic & Robotic Onco-Surgery program and completed Fellowship training in South Korea & France. He has operated more than 3500 Indian and International patients and is one of trusted cancer surgeons in Mumbai.
Dr. Sanjay Parab is General, Endoscopic and Laparoscopic surgeon at the hospital. He has vast experience of more than 20 years in the surgical field and is known for his excellent skills. His case studies have been published in renowned journals. During the Pandemic, he exhibited remarkable administrative skills as the Nodal Officer for a dedicated covid hospital conducted by Bhaktivedanta Hospital. He is also a dedicated member of Iskcon and one of the counsellors and mentor for the devotee community under Iskcon Chowpatty, Mumbai.
Dr. Suraj Bhagde performs all General Anterior Segment Ophthalmic and Glaucoma Surgeries in adults. He specializes in Squint surgeries for patients of all ages. Under his guidance, Ophthalmology services have been nicely established, with annual figures crossing 4,500 surgeries. Dr. Bhagde has conducted independent Clinical Research studies in Ophthalmology and has got two papers published. As the Medical Superintendent of Swami Shraddhanand Hospital, he oversaw a gradual development of clinical services locally, benefitting an increasing number of patients. He has been actively involved in planning design for the upcoming Eye Hospital in our own land at Barsana, U.P. to his credit.

Dr. Kailas Methe is an alumnus of Grant Medical College, Mumbai and pursued his MD Community Medicine from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. He has served as Officer Commanding of a Field Health Organization Operation in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh after serving as Major and Captain in Indian Army.
